CAST v64 private beta tester packet

Install

1. Download the approved CAST v64 APK from the live beta link.
2. If Android blocks the install, allow installs from Chrome or My Files.
3. If Android says `App not installed`, uninstall old CAST and install again.
4. Open CAST and verify the beta account by email.
5. Complete personalization and consent setup.

Model setup

CAST v64 expects the small default LiteRT-LM file:

gemma3-1b-it-int4.litertlm

1. Use CAST's Model setup screen and tap Download default while on Wi-Fi.
2. CAST keeps the phone awake during setup and can resume a saved partial download if Wi-Fi drops or the phone interrupts the transfer.
3. If a supported model is already in Downloads, tap Import model file and choose it from Android's picker.
4. Supported imports: gemma3-1b-it-int4.litertlm, gemma-4-E2B-it.litertlm, or gemma-4-E4B-it.litertlm.
5. Do not use random model files, partial downloads, web builds, or old .task files.
6. Send one short test problem.

Known limits

• Hosted login requires the Cast identity Worker, D1 database, and email provider to be configured.
• The default model downloads from the Model setup screen; manual import is a fallback.
• Watch, PC companion, and off-network Stella are not required for this beta.
• CAST is not legal, medical, therapy, or financial advice.
