Install CAST v72 on Android
One tap to get the Android private beta APK.
iPhone or iPad only? Use the iPhone beta lane. APK files do not install on iOS. iOS support is coming later via TestFlight/App Store.
Android setup steps
- Tap Download Android APK.This saves
cast-v72-private-beta.apkto the phone. - Open the APK file.If Chrome does not show it, use Chrome menu > Downloads or Files > Downloads.
- Allow install if Android asks.This usually says "install unknown apps" for Chrome or Samsung Internet.
- Open CAST.Create an account with email verification. Your local memory and reads still stay on the phone unless you review and send something.
- Download the default model in CAST.Use Wi-Fi. Android manages the large model download, then CAST verifies it and installs it privately.
If Android says App not installed, uninstall the older CAST beta and install v72 again.
